There are 7 billion people on Earth. They are literally everywhere.

You can find the skanky ones on Tinder for a quickie, or you can go places where smart, classy people go and meet them there. But just know that if you spend all your time hunting the dirty ones online, you'll stink of low class to the decent ones out there in the real world.

You're making assumptions that the girl you meet at the library doesn't have a tinder account. It's common as fukk. It's not like the early 2000s where online dating/meetups were taboo.

The history of this forum is largely misunderstood.

I've been here since since the beginning, so I'll give you a quick history lesson that you haven't likely been exposed to:

This forum's glory days were actually in the 2007-2009 era. It was a mix of lifting threads and random funny stuff. Youtube was new at the time so there were a lot of Kimbo Slice etc. going on. It was a great time, before the 4Chan takeover which brought in an influx of non lifters. Around 2009-2011, we saw the rise of those non-lifting types (almost prototypes of the modern Misc FA/LDAR/incels) as well as certain makeup wearing Australians who were heroes to these 4Channers, but the actual lifters here resisted. As a matter of fact, some people started negging him and his followers on sight because the whole forum was being lost to a bunch of non-lifting, zyzz worshipping 4Channers. Of course, you won't ever hear that since everyone just assumes he was universally worshipped and loved. But that wasn't the case. It was just the insecure non-lifting types who were looking for a hero. And that almost became the theme of this place.

So things never really came back from that to be honest. And of course forums in general are dying off (maybe with the exception of Reddit), but I can assure you it has nothing to do with the moderators and it certainly doesn't have anything to do with rep points lmao. And it definitely wasn't Reddit even though that may have been like a final nail in the coffin.

It all started with 4Chan users coming over here in droves over a decade ago.

Classic Forums dying and this forum not evolving whatsoever (no new UI???? ****s sake) is the reason.
People are less and less interested in classic forums. They want instant messaging, conversations, etc.

It's human nature to assume that "everyone does it" when you're doing something immoral or bad for you.

Look at all the alcohol memes on social media. I have friends on ******** who are clearly fall down alcoholics (40 year old women I went to high school with) posting little quippy memes like "Oh it's 9:00 am? Must be wine-clock. Share if you need a glass, too!" The more people that do it, the more they feel like it must be the right thing.

You're doing the same thing right now.

But it's not just that. Look at your username. Yes this is the Misc and it's a joke, etc. But your mentality is clearly: "Get laid right now! Find a way!"

this forum does suck now. i gotta say. i mean people have been saying it for years since i joined, but it really sucks now. it's still better than reddit though. but the repped / negged system has fully turned into reddit's judgement of upvoting and downvoting. i think it's the negativity. even the mods have left this forsaken land lol

If I were these guys, I'd start by changing my whole mindset.

I'd stop looking at porn and Instagram "models" all the time. And I would 100% ditch the dating apps. All of this has perverted their sense of what women are and has altered their expectations of what sex looks like and what a relationship looks like. When you spend your whole life online, you start thinking everybody is like the avatars you see online.

So step one is to find a new mindset. And until we can get past that stage without arguing with me about how the world doesn't work that way blah blah blah, I won't even bother with where to go from there.

reddit is a forum for everything, with every subtopic under the roof
