EDIT: The poster above me knows what the fuk is up

Crazy thing about China is that

1) They have always been our enemy (or at best "frenemy")

2) The US is solely responsible for their current ascension and wealth (via trade & stolen intellectual property)

WE WILL WAGE A WAR WITH CHINA via bringing our trade home for good or trading with another nation more aligned with our values (thinking India due to Trump).

China just lost a lot of political capital. I believe the US media is intentionally drumming up mass panic about the Corona Virus to paint a negative picture about China and their "backwards" way of life (i.e. eating wild animals).

With the trade war Trump has been engaged in, this hysteria just gives the US more political capital against China. It's all psy ops for the masses. Best way to stay in power is to point out an enemy.

Until Trump started this trade war stuff, China was an economic juggernaut. If you think that China's government isn't mad as hell I don't know what you think could piss them off more. However, they don't want to admit they are mad, because that would be admitting that Trump got them. So instead, it's passive agressive techniques which they are famous for. China has little balls, they would never have the guts to come at us directly. Instead they will try this crap.

Its always EZPZ to flip the script and blame western nations for the world's problems. I don't doubt the Chinese will get some traction in blaming the repercussions of Marco Polo or Nixon or whomever for their current plight.

Its kinda weird how the West and the EU has already been trending nationalistic (Trump/Brexit) and something like this gives a whole lotta leeway to make things much worse for emigrants without merit to EVER come here.

I'm sure when Italy recovers from this ...they gonna be like....shut down all refugee/migrant pathways.

I think its more of the media fueling hysteria to try and influence the upcoming elections. It's been a part of their agenda since Nov 2016. Hell, Jim Acosta said it was "xenophobia" to call the Wuhan Strain of the coronavirus aForeign Virus. Those ass holes are looking for ANY angle at all to try and influence the elections

Thats simply not true. And I don't even know where one would get that from. I've worked for many salons prior to becoming an executive at GM and never have I encountered such thing. The worst Ive seen is someone working without a nail tech license. Boo hoo.

I thought over the years China was working on technology and got to the point where they could destroy all of our satellites so we wouldn't be able to communicate, therefore they couldn't be targeted with our nukes/missiles. I asked my cousin who was an intelligence officer in the Army and he claims the U.S. still has the strongest military in the world and we'd be able to easily take out both China and Russia if push came to shove.
