If you are smart you will gang up with a band of survivors led by a charismatic leader called Rick.

Either that or get tooled up and head to DrewDardens house and steal his stash.

I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

I've used all my savings to pay off debt, tours over

Maybe I should stack the next couple of paychecks just Incase? I get paid next week and if im let go that's a bit more. Me and my bro split the bills do they aren't much

Those who paid off their house are in great standing, this is why I side with paying it off early

Put in a little over $12k in my Roth IRA plus have about 2.5k in my bank. It would be ok for a while but obviously rather not dip into my Roth since the market crashed and I lost value.

Feel fortunate (?) that I'm working for the government in a department that serves the public. As I've been told we would be one of the last to shut down if it ever came to it. I'd be so stressed if I had no savings, wife and kids.

Expect a sharp rise in crime.

I have a yuuuuge emergency fund back up and I'm still getting paid by the hospital to go in, so as long as I don't get sick and die, I should be OK.

They probably had alot of their wealth in the stock market and investment real estate.

simple. they wont.

That is when this whole farce will collapse.

its fun now, a national unplanned holiday with beer and memes.

reality will set in when the paycheck is a bunch of zeros and people will demand answers.

That will be about the same time that the charade collapses and we get back to normal. Maybe 2 weeks max.

Seems like the government might be sacrificing the young to spare the old.
young people are also getting complications from this. Not to mention, not every young person who looks outwardly healthy is actually healthy. Those with heart/liver/lung conditions will be affected.

Well, this is showing the importance of having an emergency fund. I can easily go years without working and be A ok. I imagine the government will help in some way, and of course us the tax payers will be paying for it in the years to come.

damn why is misc always on the edge of each spectrum: "iTs jUsT a fLU bRo" and "we're all gonna die mang"

this won't cause a great depression. A recession is likely, but this is just a short term containment until either a) the virus effectively contains itself by burning its way through whomever does have it or b) a vaccine (which is likely by early next year)

in which case the market will go back up and life will resume, albeit with a "new normal"

lmao wut, banks get rekt by zero interest rates. all they do is literally lend money out. if the interest rate is zero they make basically no money on lending out money.

probably hyperinflation is the only way out. fed is already starting QE again which will just devalue the dollar.

Can't the bank wipe out your savings just like it did during the great depression? But then I read there's a fail safe, so idk

They'll survive ****tily.

Hopefully this is a lesson to them that they need to prioritize savings over iPhones, spotify subscriptions and getting all their food delivered for 500% of the food cost.
