There is no such thing as an all-around intelligence.

There are people that can solve high level math problems, but couldnt fix something mechanical

There are people who can make fast thinking, precise physical movements (athletes) but cant manage money or do their own hw

There are people who have high social intelligence, but have no foresight of consequences.

Then there are people who instinctively know how to do many things, but lack the capability to learn new things at a normal timeline.

People have different skill-sets, they develop their mind to do things that pertain to their interest or career.

I've taken IQ tests and hit 140+, I've taken IQ tests and gotten 90. I got a scholarship for my MCAS scores, I didn't even put effort into it. It all depends contextually. Some days you're a big stupid f$%^in' idiot, other days you're firing on all cylinders. There's so many variables. IQ isn't even a constant thing, it ebbs and flows and fluctuates.

You gonna judge a drummer on how well they can figure skate? No. Find your thing, and become a genius / expert in THAT, to the point of being compensated. If you can turn your passion into money, any sort of money, not even fully paying your bills with it? At that point you're pretty genius. But the guy who gets the OSHA Certification and can build a house, all the trade jobs? That ain't brainless manual labor, either. Framing a wall at 16 on center is one thing, reading blueprints, figuring out cost of materials and labor, and so on all takes considerable intellect.

It is impossible to deal with people under 35. In my many years of managing people, I’ve only had one person who was manageable. Almost all are from wealthy families and hold ivy degrees. So you can imagine how many are Tier 2’s!

We look to pricing and automation of the value chain to stay in business. And by pricing I mean the business side of things.

The small proportion of people with light in them are not working in offices for long.
