I grew up near the beach (within driving distance). One good summer job was walking the beach selling photos of people as souvenirs. It was also a great way to meet cute girls and get a tan from what I hear. I didn't have that job the one summer I lived at the beach, so I'm just going by what guys I knew then told me. The job no longer exists today because of smartphones, but anyone of a certain age who grew up on the east or west coasts knows exactly what this (below) is. Millennials and younger probably have no clue.

I didn’t own this 84 GMC till the 90’s , but I find the square body trucks from the 80’s were the best looking . Wish I kept it somedays.
This truck was also a standard, 3.73 gears . Had a 305, but if I kept it I was going to install an LS6 454

Every HS and college aged girl had one of those on her keychain. It's a viewer for a small souvenir photo of her on the beach, usually taken with her friends. The lens is plastic, but magnifies the photo. The white end allows backlighting to illuminate the photo. Until smartphones, everyone who grew up within driving distance of a major beach town would instantly recognize that.

U2, Chili Peppers, Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Bon jovi, Prince, Journey, Tears for Fears, hair bands, and on and on. 80's pop music was another level.

It was one saturday back in 1989 and i was 8 years old and my friend James told me he had found some videos in his dad's garage and we should watch them because we were bored. We thought it might be horror movies or something.

We went into his bedroom where he had a video player and put on the first video called "Piss party".

We sat in awe as these woman were on their knees on plastic sheets being pissed on by a load of men and one of them got chit on.

After laughing like kids do and thinking "wtf?" we put on the next one called "Donkey Dongs" or something. Now i won't get into details but the dicks were big and there was not one black dude to be seen, but there might have been a donkey.

Blowing our minds we grabbed the next one thinking again "WTF?" it was called something like "BIG KUNTS" and it was women being fisted....deep.

We told everyone in school about it and we became legends among our classmates and the experts on sex.

It all came undone when i had the "sex talk" with my father who told me that at some point in my life i'd find a special woman, we would cuddle and then a baby would be born.

He then asked me if i had any questions and i asked him about chitting in a girls mouth and fisting a "kunt" and he went fucin ballistic and asked me where i'd heard this and i told him about the videos and he went mental and said there is only one "kunt" and it was James dad. srs

Best things about the 80s were the Edmonton oilers dynasty, hulkamania and young mike.

Otherwise I think puffy made more out of the 80s in the 90s than the 80s made of themselves

I saw Guns n Roses play to a half empty entertainment centre in Sydney as they toured Appetite. Nobody knew who they were.
I saw Metallica play to a 1000 seat centre tour And Justice for All - they hadn't hit the big time yet.
I stuck so many pages of Penthouse together with guilt free fapping it was glorious.
I had a Jewish girlfriend with magnificent tits.
