the problem spending 100k on a car is a few years later you want the 150k car then the 200k all while they depreciate and you lose money

My neighbor had a new Jag and he said it came with heaps of electrical problems. All the wiring became green and corroded and garbage in no time.

He said it was one of the worst purchases he ever made. Bought a Toyota after lmao!

I've always liked the Lincoln LS v8, however I made the mistake of buying a first gen. Chain tensioners went out and took out a head. Fixed the head and the coolant tank cracked, it's a pressurized system. Then the hydraulic fan setup went out, then the aux coolant pump. Finally sold it. I then bought a 06 LSE and they fixed all those issues from the factory and it was a perfect Daily

dear fuking lord if this don't hit close to home. I have a 335is fully paid for. Been kicking around the idea of getting a new car but I love having no carpayment and cheapass insurance. Not to mention the car is fun af to drive but the maintenance is a fuking bitch.

Have to replace the oil valve cover? Drop the subframe. Have to replace the oil pan? Drop the subframe. Half the fuking parts are $500 or less which is fine but you end up paying $1200 in fuking labor cause everything requires you to drop the MFing subframe.

Next vehicle will likely be a Cadillac ATS, or GT350

I bought a MKC about 9 months ago and am pleased so far. However, it's a big upgrade compared to my previous old pickup truck.

Just from experience, the cars driven by the biggest jackasses were:
Any pickup truck.
Volkswagen GTI, I have no idea why this car is beloved by retards who like to weave between lanes in a 30mph road with traffic lights.
Cop cars too but I guess that's not really a vehicle choice.

Also first gen S4 V8. Beautiful car and a blast to drive. Not a ton of regular issues until you have to do the timing setup. Brb 4500 my shop cost in parts and tearing the entire front of the car off.

That's why I love Japanese sports cars like my 350Z and NA Miata. They are tons of fun to drive and cheap and easy to maintain.

my coworker had the v8 s5, I don't get the appeal of an expensive to maintain V8 that's barely faster than most modern jap econoboxes and has zero modding potential

To smog the Cayman you have to rip out the interior so the technician can look at it. That’s the only car I think I paid to have a oil change done

They are fun af though
Losers let it happen, winners make it happen.
