lol Well, at that time I was only 45 or so, so mid 30's got more leeway. Was really trying to avoid the 20somethings and on OK Cupid you can't set messaging to a certain age. That was the one good thing about POF. You could do that.

Maybe they think that automatically since you're a woman, you are going to be swoon over them having kids and being "good" dads.
However, if they are dads and estranged from their kids, I wouldn't feel comfortable at all. I'd be judgy there too.
At this age, it'd practically be impossibility to find anyone without kids, though.

And yeah pretty much everyone at this age has kids. Itโ€™s not a total dealbreaker for me either. If the kids are grown and out of the house that would be totally fine.

As to small kids only if I REALLY liked the guy and he was rich enough to outsource childcare/cooking/cleaning etc then that would be fine. But just lol if regular guys are expecting someone to step in as stepmom and do all those mom duties for them.
