Sauron's orcs were a very pale flesh tone with hint's of yellow.

Here is how Tolkien described them.
Tolkien describes orcs as: squat, broad, flat-nosed, sallow-skinned, with wide mouths and slant eyes: in fact degraded and repulsive versions of the (to Europeans) least lovely Mongol-types."

The Urk-hai were bigger and stronger and could move in daylight because they were halh human. Regular orcs hated the sun. The white hand was because Saruman, was Saruman the White. Then became SAURUMAN OF MANY COLORS. (Never shown in the movie)

Dwarves and Elves were both from Norse Mythology and hated each other, obviously.

GOBLINS, lived underground and were super pale with big eyes. (Just like you saw in Moria)

Tolkien wasn't racist.
He was writing about his experience in war. He wanted the Orcs to be thought of as the Mongol Horde trying to conquer and wipe out all opposition.

Sauron was a white dude. (How about dat) In fact, for a long time he was trusted and thought to be an ally of the good people. He could shape shift and eventually wore the black armor. (Cause it's cool)

Trolls were never described really. Just big, burly, stupid and strong. They would turn to stone in the sunlight.

Ents were trees.

Trolls were made in mockery of Ents.
Orcs were made from captured and tortured Elves, so they were white too (If you wanna talk bout race(

Melkor (Saurnon's boss who made many of the vile creatures in middle earth) Could not create life, just corrupt it.

The Balrogs were shadow and flame. (FLAMING) so I suppose they offended the ghey people.

Wring wraiths were invisible... we had not real idea of their race prior to Sauron enslaving them.


Pretty much everything Tolkien wrote about was from Norse myth. Including most of the names he chose for his heroes. (Gandalf and all the dwarve's names in the hobbit came from Norse Myth)
So, Middle Earth is basically Midgard. LOTR is a REGIONAL SAGA.

I wonder what Radagast the Brown had to say about this.

In the books Gandalf liked him, but he wasn't real bright.

I LOVE the part in the Hobbit movie where Bilbo asks Gandalf about Radagast "Is he a GREAT WIZARD?... or is he like you". lol
Gandalf says "OH, I think he is a very great Wizard."

in the books the way he was written was much wiser, or his description made him seem so. he tended to nature, took care of the wildlife and plants, which is really important, no others could see that.

it was said somewhere that if he didn't do this, sauron's influence would have been much larger when he was the necromancer at dol guldor.

Well, it was his fault Saruman captured Gandalf. But he did then help Gandalf escape Orthanc by sending Gwaihir

Tolkien's writing does not shed much light on Radagast's personality. In the books, little is known about Radagast apart from certain defining characteristics. Saruman was the chief of the Order of Wizards and Gandalf came next in the order; Radagast meanwhile held much less power and wisdom.[2]

As one of the Maiar of Yavanna, Radagast had a great interest in the kelvar and olvar of Middle-earth and was a friend to beasts and birds.[2][3] Gandalf, however, held greater respect from, and knowledge about, birds than Radagast.[9]

Radagast displayed some qualities of innocence and naivety, making him an ideal accomplice of Saruman's plans, seen in providing his services to help the White examine the Gladden Fields. Saruman in turn considered him simple (minded) and a fool and can be heard saying that he (Radagast) acted in a manner contrary to how an Istari should behave.
