Yeah Deadwood sucked after Season 1 or maybe 2! Not worth pursuing. Hard to find a series that’s good from start to finish. Some of these recommendations aren’t taking your question serious.

1. Westworld - a true masterpiece, for me the more I watch it the better it gets. The line "They come back because they discover something they imagine no on had ever noticed" is true as someone who watches the show and I notice something i never did before in the show itself.
2. Cosmos - if I watched this when I was between 10 and 16 I would probably have gone into sciene. 100% serious. I would show this to my children daily.
Then significantly further down would be a mixup of

For mature audiences:
GOT
Breaking bad
True Detective - Season 2 wasnt great but also not terrible. Season 1 and 3 are brilliant.
Chernobyl - Really captures the actual fear well and how bad it actually was. Never realized it until the show made you see that literally most of Europe would not exist right now if they didnt fix it.
Boardwalk Empire
Lost - Some dont like that it drags out but I think its still great
Sons of Anarchy - Mostly the first 4-5 seasons
Taboo - Only 1 season so far but really good

Commedy:
30 Rock - would never be allowed to air in the current SJW regime
Little Britain - same as above
Arrested Development - Probably the smartest comedy I have ever seen. Which is why it failed. Jokes were just too advanced/complex for the american audience.
Boston Legal - its actually extremely predictive of many of the social issues we currently face despite being quite old now
Blue Mountain State - Just very easy to watch tbh
Athletics > Aesthetics
I guess its time to start training again.
