It's hard because there are TOO many Asians at elite schools. 4.0 Asian GPA gets converted to about a 3.50 for other minorities.

it's true 1st gen immigrants are generally more socially conservative, but the main reason why Asians used to mostly vote GOP was because most of them arrived in the US with a strong Cold War era anti-communist tinge. kinda the reason why Cubans are the main GOP foothold within the Hispanic demographic. been a while since the USSR collapsed though, and other concerns have risen up.you do realize rooftop koreans are a thing because cops ****ed off to protect the "suburban" neighborhoods during the LA riots.

GOP just really caters to white Christian men and really throws everyone else to the side. Democrats pretend to at least care, and hence most minorities vote democrat.

I grew up catholic in New England...I used to think bible thumpers were just a meme until I moved to Texas.

I dont even think they cater to them. They're just so prevalent. I dont think Republicans cater to anyone other than the concept of individualism which of course is a double edged sword.

We need another libertarian slanted contract with America. No more wars unless necessary and MJ bought from the gas station like beer.

I love it when I have to remind them that their cool new church is a spin off from the original one and only true church. Catholicism in the south is an experience.

Asian person here, I am voting Trump.

Asians who vote for liberal don't realize that liberals don't give a phuck about them. I laugh at the amount of ideas who think Trump saying China Flu is causing the attacks. Look at the videos of Asians being physically assaulted, do any of them look like Trump supporters? Lmao.

I'm an Indiancel, so basically the same as Asiancels, and the majority of my peers vote Dimocrat because :

1. It's the in-vogue thing to do. They see all their peers who go to college voting for left/whining about whatever nonsense helps keep their otherwise useless major semi-relevant and start parroting the same **** to fit in. This is especially bad for Asian/Indiancels because pretty much all of us go to college and are indoctrinated by the system. We also are smaller/get picked on, so it's an easy way to fit in.

2. The GOP is way too tradie WASP focused. My parents are now wealthy and vote Dem because of the administration's views on immigration and how Dems are perceived as champions of minorities. Although we're doing extremely well now, I grew up extremely middle class and my parents still have a chip on their shoulder about overcoming some of the subtle and even overt racism that occurs.

That's pretty much it. Point number 2 is the biggest reason. I think it's stupid because Dims basically promote degeneracy or the stupid life choices people make and force us "model minorities" pay for it through huge tax increases on our higher incomes we slogged our asses off for. It's why I personally vote Libertarian/Republican, but the social issues are what most Millennials/Zoomers vote on, and that is typically more favorable toward Asians' tastes than the Right

It's starting to change slightly. A lot more Indian brahs are entering finance/law where they're earning good money right out the gate and are starting to become more fiscally conservative. I tend to fall in that camp.

Because they are widely more educated and just as many academia leaning folk they lean democrat because they base their policies in science and proven date vs Republicans who are literally quoting God in their pursuit to abolish abortion rights for Women amongst many other draconian laws they'd love to reinstitute. Did you really have to ask? Must be Republican yourself LOL

I work with an asian guy who's a trump supporter and his wife is a hardcore democrat. He tells me the funniest stories of how he rustles her jimmies by bringing Trump up during conversation.
