The fact that the whole ordeal started with like 5+ guys being involved in stealing some girl's phone in and of itself is a pretty strong indicator that they aren't the type of guys who believe in any concept of honor in fighting. Plus they basically immediately ganged up on the off duty patrol officer guy when they got pissed enough to escalate it to physical violence. That was already extremely cheap of them to do when the off duty guy didn't even initiate the physical fight.

They literally gang beat a guy because he called them out on their treatment of some girl they stole from. Not exactly the kind of guys I'd expect to be honorable about things after they knock the lone guy out.

First i want to say that those guys are clearly POS human beings stealing a phone from a girl...i should not even have to mention that.

But to me the biggest idiot in this situation is the girl...Why is this 4'10 girl trying to go and confront 7 of these thugs about her fukkin cellphone. The off duty cop was a simp if you ask me putting himself in harms way to save this dumb sloot.

This could have all been avoided if she just called the police used this tape to point out who stole her phone and let the police handle it. Better yet who gives a **** buy a new phone and move on not worth risking your life over a ****ing phone.

Not sure how anyone could reasonably defense what those guys did under almost any possible circumstances based on the video footage. Even if we assumed the white off duty officer guy said anything racist to them, how does that justify the young guys initiating the physical fight, then gang beating him after he was clearly retreating with his back turned towards them with like 7 guys running after him, and then stomping him when he was knocked out on the pavement? I

If those guys who delivered the gang beating could make that arguement that they just didn't know any better or some other lame excuse, then how can they tag the George Floyd cops other than Derek Chauvin himself with severe criminal charges? Because they're cops? Well, their only crime was not intervening, which I believe they should have. But again, wasn't at least one of those side cops a rookie on his 3rd shift or something? I'd argue that that guy had a lot more dilemma to deal with in interfering against a senior cop he was supposed to be able to trust, and who could probably have easily gotten him fired had he stepped in and it not became a media chit storm than guys claiming they didn't know any better than to gang beat a lone guy because they were 17 or whatever.

Only way to solve this problem and behavior is to look at the root problem. NO morals / ethics / glorified thug culture instilled in them. Gotta bring back a strong 2 parent nuclear family in America and SHAME for the offender AND his FAMILY.

In Japan you wouldn't see this. Crime exists, but it's basically because the state allows the Yakuza to exist and operate low key because erasing all crime it totally impossible...so installed they basically have low key sanctioned crime.

In Japan, the disenfranchised outsider kids...who are impossible to reform and bring into a harmonious society...like the ones you see in the video...will get scooped up into the "family of outsiders (Yakuza)" and basically forced to not toe too far outside the line our they will get sepuku'd. That, or Japan's prison system is so much like real prisons should be that NOBODY re-offends.

To be fair they can't do much else, considering there was 4 or so of them and about 15 people attacking, they probably saved the dude from getting killed.

I've worked sec for about 10 years, the industry is so highly regulated now that if you touch anyone outside of maybe bouncing a club you can get the sack/taken to court.

Judging from the video none of the thugs know how to fight, if it were one on one the officer would have won, so they jumped him like cowards. I believe before the video they used the race card saying they were being harassed by a white and Chinese, it was only until the video was released that the truth came out, but the teens lawyers said how do we know what went down when there is no audio of the verbal attacks coming from the white and Asian persons.
