Saving Private Ryan was a good movie. Gangs of New York was not a good movie but Daniel Day Lewis is always fun to watch. Apocalypse Now is overrated.
"A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand."

So your complaint is that the plot of the movie is how the main cast is searching for private Ryan in a film called Saving Private Ryan?

I don’t remember the name for Tom Hank’s character, but I remember his personality, and how the soldiers had a wager on his civilian profession, and at the end of the day he was a. Run of the mill teacher. I also remember the way his hands shaked, and the way he used to hold them to stop the tremors.
The Edith Piaf part was pretty memorable IMO. They arguably brought they song to the contemporary mainstream before inception did.
For me, the biggest death, aside from the doc’s (played by ribbissi) is Adam Goldberg’s character. Probably because The scene is super frustrating. Ironically, the only name I remember the most is Uppam (sp?), and how he (arguably understandably) panicked and let Goldberg die .
Another moment I remember is when the soldiers were playing with the blood drenched dog tags. It was a pretty brutal m scene.
