Just fukking lol at op.

Drop the superior attitude.

Drop your condescending tone.

Stop thinking you are in some sort of position to make a PSA

I mean you come off as a total Kunt. Trying to lecture people on etiquette while saying “to all you dipchits returning to the gym”. Way to start off your public service announcement by calling everyone else a dipchit and setting you aside and above them.

Who are you, and why are you so special. You obviously are stuck working out with a bunch of mongoloids as is evident by your long whiny PSA. This makes you no better then said mongoloids. Shut up and go back to your chitty gym, no one has time for your hall monitor proclamation, especially given your unwarranted superiority complex.

I'm all for gym etiquette. It has become a lost art. Post this at your gym. Not here.

Out of curiosity, instead of just thinking about how you were gonna post this on the misc, did you actually take action to resolve your issues in the gym?

If people are not aware someone is waiting for the equipment they are using, then there isn’t actually a reason for them to rush.

The reason why I suggested you just joined the gym, is because most mature, understanding gym members understand this. We simply “hey man, how many sets do you have left”?, which makes our intentions clear, and also sends the message other people are there and waiting for you to finish. This easily makes people either work quicker to finish, or I usually ask them if they just want to join in.

These are not even really issues for avid gym goers man, because you can easily and respectfully just deal with it before it becomes an issue.

Instead, you take the ******** mom approach, get all worked up about it, hold it in, then rant on the internet about it.

I mean, did you just join the gym yesterday? None of this is new, or even close to it.
I agree with most of this. People aren't aware or considerate to others around them. I don't take it personal either and have no issues asking someone to move their stuff if they aren't using it. I'm all about educating rather than conflict. Perhaps you are more tolerant of ignorance, but it doesn't make it right.

Why is it so hard to just do the right thing?

The part I do disagree with is you saying none of this is new or close to it. I don't know what state you live in, but where I live, we are required to wear a mask in the gym. We are required to socially distance from others. We are required to spray all equipment and wipe it down. Not to mention many gyms have removed equipment such as benches therefore if its important to be self aware. Its not a rant. It's more important than ever to have good etiquitte and and not impose your will into someones space or any of your belongings to equipment that someone else wants to use that's beyond an acceptable period of time.

I think a lot of people are so caught up in their own little world working out they forget that there are other people around them with time constraints.

I always try to finish my workouts as quickly as possible without hurting myself because I know sometimes people are waiting on me to so they can do what they need to do.

My biggest pet peeves are super setting during peak gym times. One of the gyms I went to had 1 of DB's for 20s, 25s, 30s, 35s. Some guy picked up every single one of them, brought it to a flat bench that someone needed then sat them down on it to superset db curls. So he took up a bench then took all those db's that people wanted to use, on top of that it took him like 15 minutes to finish whatever he was doing.
Hogging 3 pieces of equipment is rude as hell. Go when there is no one there if you want to do that.

I dont get to upset about people taking long in between sets. Heavy is relative to the person unless I see them doing sets of 10 with relative ease then taking 5+ minutes between sets carrying on a conversation.
