If you are dealing with some fungus or disease, when you are mulching you are spreading that fungus and disease throughout your yard. When you bag you are taking that disease out of your yard. Sure it won't get rid of the fungus or disease, but at least you are not continuously throwing it back into your yard every time you cut

If you cut it often enough, you dont need a bag. If it’s long I’ll use a bag. I like the clippings to re feed the lawn since I fertilize and water.

Mines a mixture of aesthetic weeds/flowers/dandelions/crab grass so that schit just gets mowed rite the fuk over. I also ride dirty on my tractor

Side discharge. Much quicker. I have to mow/maintain 23 lawns at rental properties. If I bagged it, that would double the amount of time spent.

I bag it because sometimes the mulch clumps up and kills the grass. Also, the mulch will lead to an excess layer of thatch over time which means more maintenance for you down the road. I throw down natural and synthetic fertilizer every month so I don’t care about the breakdown of mulch for nitrogen.

Toro Super Recycler makes the clippings disappear. Mulch only for me unless I’m getting ready to overseed or have a lawn fungus.
