A couple of years back I worked up to 500 a day in sets of 50 but started getting elbow pain and wasn't really getting any gains from it compared to weights.

Clapping pushups will give you some explosion you are missing from just knocking out hundreds of push ups.

Impressive op but personally that amount every day would fuk my joints/tendons up for sure. I prefer spreading that energy out on my entire body to have that balanced look.

To progress in Bodyweight training, get some Parralletes ..gymnastic athletes use them....can use them to do dip, handstand pushups, and advanced static holds like L-Sits, Planches, Front/Back Levers etc.....even use them for some body weight rows, footwork drills etc

Picked some up as I've been out of the gym, but still trying to train

https://www.360athletics.com/lebert-...4aAoixEALw_wcB

these are the ones i have but in XL so their actually taller

Actually also I also vote for getting gymnastic rings as well which can allow you to workout pretty much anywhere theres a big tree, or some football posts, basketball nets, even soccer posts ... and pullups/dips on rings actually are much much better in terms of the total muscle activation >>> I picked some up as well from rouge athletics.
Lifting Maxes:

Clean and Jerk: 210*1
Snatch: 185*1
Dead Lift: 435 Conventional; 445 Sumo >>> Tested in 2019
Squat: More than you can afford pal; Ferrari....
Bench Press: Untested

Props to you for the accomplishment but the fact is i maxed at at doing 300 push ups when i was 13.

I found my self say. Where does it end? I coukd have shot for 50 more then once i achieved that id want 400. Finally decided to congratulate my self on the 300 and stop. Then just went back to 100 a day 5 days a week. You got to cap it off sometime.

700 though bro you should br proud . most just cant or wont even try to reach half of that .
