That’s what I thought until I got it brah. A common cold doesn’t feel like someone is pressing their hand on your chest 24/7. I’m also in decent shape. I lose my breath quicker than a miscer seeing a pretty woman naked for the first time.

Think I had it from mid December - early February. Can confirm shortness of breath sucked. Always felt like I couldn’t breathe and would have coughing fits all day. Combined with severe head and nasal congestion and soar throat

Yeah that's just the way my mom described it to me. She had it and is now fully recuperated. She also told me most men she knows act like they're dying when they have little cold. Good luck nevertheless.

Its just a different feeling than you’re used to when you get sick.

Real talk, you’re fine. I’m a big believer that your mindset toward how you feel can make it better or worse. Especially for something you’ve never had before

If you sit here and tell yourself this is terrible and you’ll never recover you’ll probably have a harder time recovering.

If you act like this is no big deal and get back to normal stuff (while quarantined) you’ll get over it quicker.

Stop being a bitch and create your teaching materials like it’s a normal day. If you use it as an excuse to lay around cause you’re “sick” it’ll take longer to get better

This goes for any illness, not just Covid FYI
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Being jacked/fit doesn't mean having good cardiovascular health. I was running low 7's in high school, the went full bulk mode and strength training through college. Ran my first mile last week because I was bored in quarantine and it ended up around an 8:40, fukin felt miserable... big wake up call to take care of my body.
