I have only seen one guy who was a legit man have a personal trainer. He and the trainer were both ex-military, and the trainee had gotten fat as he aged. He's also the only guy who I've actually seen benefit from having a trainer, the guy lost a lot of fat and became strong as fuk. Trainer was having him do actual powerlifting/strongman chit and not balance ball/machine garbage as well.

I have utilized online training services but these were people who had specific experience training amateur bodybuilders cause I was prepping for my first show before COVID cancelled it. I think regular types of PT has its place for the lazy and uneducated like previously stated ITT. In my case it was more of an accountability thing and showing my progress to someone who could actually gauge my prep and help me understand how I was doing.
But I know enough about lifting and diet now to be successful on my own, still kinda lazy though not gonna lie

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

My left trap is slightly shorter than my right now, for example, so I have to consciously put it in a specific position before starting a movement.Obviously sloots do personal training for attention and to flirt with their trainers.
But what kind of man would pay for such service when you can literally find free excersize routines and tips on YouTube and Google all day that tell you EXACTLY what to do. Chits not Brain surgery.
The funniest is seeing couples do personal training together. I can't think of a bigger way to cuck yourself than that
EDIT: also I should add there's really only 4 types of dudes I see using personal trainers
1) Indians
2) cucks with their wives
3) weird looking/very low IQ looking men
4) Soylent incels
Lol youll NEVER see a normal looking dude using a personal trainer. Like ever. It doesn't happen.

So I hired one for a few months when I started hitting the gym for the first time since the injury to make sure everything was lined up and my form was as close to perfect as it could get. I did get one with a BS in kinesiology and other useful credentials though, not just some dude who took an online PT course.
In short it's mostly morons/weirdos but not always.

If you can find one who is actually well-educated in the field, that's one thing. Most of them anymore are just quick studies.
Currently: Marathon training (Run with Hal - Advanced I); The Work/Body Beast hybrid
Next race: Ohio 10K - September 12, 2021
