Its sad that this guy hadn't learned to control his anger. He made an incredibly stupid decision in a state of rage he couldn't control.
Its also sad that everyone in America has guns and these situations result in deaths rather than arrest and rehabilitation.

I realize in this case he had a knife and charging him down would put innocent police at risk of injury or death, so I don't disagree with the action they took given this very specific situation.

I do wonder why tasers never seem to actually take people down, there has to be a better way - or someone has to design something else that gives these people a chance of survival and calming down. Also no police wants to go home at the end of the day knowing they had to kill someone.

I wish these kinds of threads were full of solutions or ideas rather than racist dialogue or making jokes.
