I had a couple tell me this same thing happened to them. Didn't even get the test done but results were positive.

It doesn’t matter if “they were going to die from something else soon anyway....”

If they die from covid complications, that is the cause of death. It is a covid related death. Spinning words doesn’t change that. Seems like a pretty easy concept to understand to me.

On vacation with the family this weekend. Made some comment about the restaurant basically engaging in medical theater (t-shirt masks required to walk 10 ft to your table, at which point you can take it off). They got all uppity about how "masks definitely work" ...a virus that's like 12 microns doesn't give a **** about your t-shirt mask. If this thing was as deadly as MERS people would be dropping left and right.

I'm done arguing with people about it. Karen thinks she's being a social saint by wearing crochet over her cock holster...whatever.

Medical labs get more funding the more COVID cases there are. Doctors have a big reason to overestimate.

There was a recent study showing that a cloth mask worked just as well as a surgical mask. The study measured droplets projected from the front of the mask using a laser. First off, this is droplets, not virus - if you use an influenza model, most actual clinical infections are caused by aerosolized droplets inhaled into the lower lungs - VERY small droplets. Second, measuring in front of the face is a confound since all of these masks allow a great deal of breath to escape out the sides and top - in other words, a great deal of the small particles are probably just being redirected, not blocked.

Long story short, I'm sure masks help "some." Whether that is statistically significant, or significant enough to warrant mandating that everyone wear a mask, is another question. You simply can't have these conversations with people because it's become a flat out ****ing religion in exactly the same way as climate change.

masks probably work in some way, the true effectiveness of them is debatable, FaucXi also said early on that the masks don't work, doctor of 40 years btw, then suddenly changes his mind???

this whole thing is so politicized and that's why I think this whole thing is a sham at this point
