Also, I was on Roaccutane for a while.
And the truth about Roaccutane is this: you're damned if you do and you're damned if you dont.

Lol at thinking cystic acne results from lack of hygiene Lol. It's all hormonal. Trust me, most people who suffered from cystic acne have tried all the BS diet and clean the pillow sheet BS, and none of that works if you have legit cystic acne.

I've been on it twice.
That's the only thing that worked for me from really big cystic acne. They would take MONTHS to heal. fuk that ****. If you're going to be depressed, it's better to be depressed with clear skin than with painful blisters on your face.

I do have joint pain in my knees and elbows but that's also from being very physically active, so who knows.

The only big side effect i had was in college and I went back to my car and started crying, not knowing why. That was trippy af but it only happened once or twice during my accutane course at 80mg a day.

OP if you have acne scars, get a prescription for Tretinoin (or its called Retin-A) about 0.05%. It'll reduce your acne scars by like 99% gradually in 3 months. Look up transformations on google. It's working for me srs.

Only downside is that you have to moisturize every time you apply it, and wear sunscreen while your on it. Well, you should be wearing sunscreen always to reduce hyperpigmentation of your scars.

The lost gains (wasn't getting enough calories in) and lifestyle changes weren't worth it for such a minuscule victory, so I gave it up. I don't know if I should eventually get on Accutane or just tough it out, the hyperpigmentation and constant oily skin is the fukin worst with no end in sight.
I took this too, it worked for me srs. My acne hasn't been coming back since the Doxycycline 1 month cycle. I only get the odd SMALL pimple or two every week or so.

Mine was never terrible (fairly frequent small outbreaks) but quite in insecurity when I was younger. I would say around 24 or so it was when it was mostly all gone.

Just finished acutane last month. Side effects I dealt with are elbow pain and dry skin

at the very end I had some mild depression but not anything that was awful and I was aware that it was the medication so I wasnโ€™t worried
You guys, I'm seriously
