Weight able to lift:

Grizzly 1000 lbs .08 bodyweight
Gorilla 4000 lbs 10x bodyweight

The thing nobody is thinking about is bears have a VERY obvious weakness, look at their nose and face. Its just a bitable rip off able thing.

Think about a dog when you are tapping their nose its such a sensitive area.

And bears are always in limbo between getting up on hind legs and falling back down.

Gorillas actually are very dynamic at dodging attacks too. they are more nimble in and out of engagement. forget running speeds, we are talking fights

So a gorilla is actually was stronger and deadlier. Can manipulate the bear quicker, has more bite force and crucially, the power lets it move in and out of engagement with nible force of application. I could imagine a bear being outplayed easily (they are uncoordinated) and the gorilla gets a huge face ripping bite and its over for the bears sensitive critical areas on face.

The bigger they are the harder they fall. THe king kong movie should have illustrated the potential for mobility. again, the power is about mobility. 10x its own bodyweight is huge. Bears are kinda autistic in combat, not reactive enough. Give them a task like running or climing and they could do it, but not reacting to fast gorilla attacks. Those bears mauled each other so many times and they did zero damage. bear claws are kinda too large to cut.

Gorilla by biting its face off is honestly likely once you look up the stats on power google gorrilla strenght and grizzly stregth.

Primates have denser fibers pound for pound, bears dont, they are just heavy.
