This is anti Martin Luther King, just in the opposite way as it was during the civil right era. Giving people a preference purely based on their skin colour/ethnicity is harmful and ultimately demeaning.

Black people were actually doing better for themselves before the introduction of the welfare state and democrat coddling.

Plus, these bosses and CEOs are just reacting to the threat of BLM terrorism, by backing down and basically giving the mob what they want.

It’s happening everywhere and I do feel
Bad because they don’t have an opportunity to escape their poor areas. Getting hired is a lot about who you know. So they are implementing these policies to shoehorn pOc in. Ultimately it is the unconnected whites that suffer. Jim bobs son still gets his connection related job, but since those white slots have been filled, unrelated poor white Mikey doesn’t have a shot because they need to meet their legal quotas now. I honestly don’t know how to feel about it because it does suck and isn’t fair that the black people have been mistreated for so long and are stuck. But this method of fixing it certainly seems wrong.

The EEO laws are not strong enough, this should be illegal. It was the intent of JFK when he started EEO for this type of racial quota and racial preference to be illegal. They have found loop holes that are only ever used for some races and not others.

I an't black and I an't connected to anybody. Not sure what Jimbob has to do with that other than you being a *******. I am mixed race and I don't qualify for any of the cards.

Afaik as long as you can check one of the minority boxes you qualify. Not sure how you didn’t understand my post but if you are white and unconnected you will suffer as a result of these policies for the reason I explained. However I think the real solution is to fight for all jobs to have higher pay and more benefits.


As far as saying hire the “best” candidate how can that be quantified? You can poke holes in any theory. It’s hard to say who is “best.”

I work at an aersocpae company that makes parts for Pratt. We deal with Boeing a little bit. They are so fcuking incompetent when we deal with them to the point that we at the office wonder how they even keep planes flying. We all say we try to book flights with Airbus now lol, avoid boeing.

They’ll probably just go the restaurant route. You ever look at the back of a Hooters, Winghouse, most restaurants and see whos working there? My point is hiring people for the worst jobs does not bring a community up.

This is the epitome of “Calvin got a job at McDonalds” meme from Chappelle show.

They should also do local demographics analytics. I would expect a lot more African American hires in a place like Atlanta versus the midwest.

It's a 20% increase in black employees. For example, if they go from 100 to 120 black employees, they will have accomplished their goal of increasing the number of black employees by 20%. That does not in any way suggest black people will make up 20% of the company or in any way be overrepresented throughout the company as a share of the population.
