On DKos what I gathered from a quick skim is that the Kenosha shooter shot a man for advancing on a gas station that the shooter was guarding and that then "heroic bystanders" attempted to disarm this armed vigilante who took the law into his own hands. Next he shot two of these paragons who were attempting to subdue him.

On misc this kid probably shouldn't have been out there, but his parents brought him along. He was cleaning up graffiti, rendered some kind of medical aid, and was helping to protect property/prevent looting. Then some unspecified event took place- maybe shots were fired, but not by the kid. But the mob thought that the kid was the shooter and they chased and attacked him. The kid tried to retreat and shot in self-defense.

And there is video of this event. It isn't something that we are having to understand based only on hearsay.

SO why in the hell has the mainstream press not released good video with witness accounts? How can an event with multiple witnesses and video be so OPAQUE and open to interpretation?

Many times they will post a newstory with a misleading headline or just straight up a lie. then they will post a correction hours later that only 10% of the people see.
