High testosterone, good men are most comfortable with the truth being on display for everybody. It plays into the idea of "may the best man win", and also allows people to see who's good and bad and who can be trusted or not trusted.
Low testosterone, bad men must rely on obfuscation to get anything from anybody, and if their weakness was known and acknowledged, nobody would want to work with them, and they'd of course never win.
This is of course speaking within a tribe/group. High test men are more aggressive and hostile to men from outside of their group in order to help their own group win more. Low test men do not benefit just from their group winning, since their contribution is low, therefore so will be their rewards, so they try to find ways to make their group lose that personally enrich them. You see this parallel with monarchy vs democracy as well.

Also your study is UK based. There's not even 1 remotely masculine male in that country so I don't know what criteria they used to define masculine, but whatever it was is considered feminine in America anyway so I don't really give a sh*t what any UK study has to say on masculinity lol.
Come back with a research population that actually has some masculine people to select from and we can talk.
