Kinda glad I got the see that chit hole in 2018 before it completely collapsed.

Couldn't believe the vomit on the streets, trash piled 25 bags high on corners, homeless person working out topless to a mirror in a department store in times square at 30 degrees at 3am (meth?), cops on every fukin corner, there's a precinct in central park and they still can't stop the hooligans from trashing the place.

55yo co-worker was talking it up to me and my colleagues, telling me where to hit up, I come back to work and just chit talk the dump non stop. Out of all the cities in the world, NYC was by far the dirtiest, smelliest, had the most cops, and most fuked up chit I've ever seen. I've been to at least 20 major international cities.

"Up 50%" just means that even if it keeps up all year, the murder rate for the year would finally be about as bad as the national average. There's a thousand serious problems in the city and the mayor is an idiot but they're still a long way from the 1970s.
