Living rural is a good life. Cleaner water, cleaner air, close with nature, silence, less need for validation, no commute, cheaper prices, more land, farming. Humans didn´t evolve to live in big cities. Enjoy you´re viruses though, because they are about to become a lot more prevelant. People who need constant validation need a lot of people around them because they are not fit to live alone. The rural man needs less validation and is more connected to reality, usually.

Some people like concerts, bars, big buildings, restaurants, busy/fast paced lifestyle. Other people like hunting/fishing, owning their own home instead of condo, cooking their own food, not being in a rush 24/7 etc..

It really depends on your hobbies and what is important to you in life. There is no wrong answer



In saying that, personally I find that living in a smallish town within an hour drive of a decent city is my preference. I can drive in one direction and get to endless amounts of beautiful outdoor hunting,fishing, camping spots. Or drive in the opposite direction and get in my city fill. Best of both worlds imo
