Economist.
Worked with a couple marines, didn’t help or hurt them.
One never deprogrammed and was a nut job however.
Other guy was super chill, had no idea he was in the armed forces until years later.

I used to work in government, cracked 6 figures from my wage salary at the age of 26 (in the year 2006)
I was a lawyer but also studying economics at the time (actual quantitative economics not that economic policy bs they peddle these days)

Been in for nearly 20 yrs. Over 6 figures, no military experience. Still lot of steps left in my grade but i probably won’t max out before I retire and doubt I’ll move up any grades either.

I was always taught that a resume should be no more than 2 pages (1 page is preferable) The resume I used for my current job could have been about 4 pages, but a lot of it were jobs from YEARS ago (entry level stuff) that had nothing to do with the current position i'm applying for. I mean, will they really care that I was a lab tech my senior year of HS (almost 15 years ago)?
