Housing crisis incoming, best move to stack cash?

Everyone thinks they can predict a crash, but I just don't see a big crash happening
1. The gubmint is not gonna let millions of people get evicted. They'd rather keep printing money and devaluing the dollar
2. Apparently the supply of houses is very low, which makes the demand for houses very high. There can't be a big crash until the supply and demand balance out, which will take a few years at least

If banks and loan companies fail they will be bought out by the bigger ones. These MBS are already being bought by the Fed. The Fed will give $$$ to the banks who will absorb the smaller banks that fail.
Any so-called housing crash is by design and will be scooped up by the big boys and sat on. The Bigs get bigger and the consumer becomes worse off.

The worst part of it all is the government of Canada has added so many taxes to the cost of building new homes they are priced fairly high. Its kinda phucked. They messed with the market to keep values high so they can get that property tax and building money at the expense of all the citizens.

There's NEVER a bad time to buy. Buy/hold has been a winning strategy since the inception of capitalism.

Lol the Fed won’t let us experience the free-fall we deserve given current circumstances.
When they have the full ability to just print/add another 0 to solve our problems and the markets support it you know our system is out of CTRL.
When the numbers are this large they don’t even matter lol

TFW everyone talking about fed printing money and “ government won’t let housing fail”. Fed doesn’t print money, if the banks can’t make money on low interest rates they won’t loan money, they don’t loan money supply goes down less people can buy homes. Who’s gonna buy a house when they lose their job and can’t qualify for a loan. Homebuilders are building out the ass to sell at high housing prices that’s why lumber was expensive as balls all summer. Lumber futures are down now because demand is leveling off.

When people are still moving to your city in droves and housing prices have skyrocketed over the last 5-10 years, those prices are never coming down again unless it eventually turns into the new Detroit

Most sales are not even being reported to REIN, which tells you that investors are cutting deals directly with banks or homeowners.

It's the governments fault for allowing this to happen, government choosing money over it's own people. But what's new

I know all of the above is true becauseCalifornia is doing the exact same thing. Im watching it irl. Zoning and permits for new single-family homes are a gazillion dollars, but getting approved for a hundred unit complex next to a trolley line is easy as pie :/

Japan invented QE in the early 90s and has been printing money for literally 30 years since. Their central bank has pumped trillions of dollars (equivalent) into the economy, bought trillions of stocks, they're top-10 stakeholders in literally half the corporations in Japan now, and they are still printing with no end in sight. They're onto multiple generations of QE.
So when the US govt keeps printing through good times and bad alike for 12 years, and JPow says he'll keep printing for the foreseeable future, I think it's more likely that they move onto decades of QE rather than pulling the rug.
