JJ is literal garbage.

I miss Quiznos. Delicateness vary but some specialized ones are great.

Firehouse subs has consistent good subs.

Go to the deli at your local grocery. Have them slice some quality meats and cheese. Get some peppridge farm and you are good to go

Firehouse or Wawa Crew. Wawa's Deli is delicious af. Jersey Mike's is overrated and I have to absolutely have no other options before I go to Subway.

The Gargantuan at JJs is a ****-ton of sandwich, it's my go-to cold sub.

Haven't had a hot sub in years, but I used to love the Chicken Carbonara sub at Quiznos before the whole chain when to shiit (early-mid 2000s).

All inferior to any local Jewish deli or Italian shop that knows what they're doing though.

In my area Wawa is very good. I wish we had Publix up around this area but we don't. We have the usual JJ, Jersey Mike's, Subway, Firehouse, etc.

Another decent one is Pramanti Bro's like that one guy posted. They are from Pittsburgh and started opening locations in the east of PA now and they are very good. I just always get my fries on the side because I don't like them on my sandwich.

You don't need reps, but I was hoping I'd get the best meatball sub of my life here in NYC. I went to two places - stale white bread sub, and meatballs in a bland tomato sauce.

Das not it. NYC should have some f'n amazing sandwich shops. I'm going to check out Eisenberg, Red, if this is your recommendation here and you have never let me down before, but if this does: negs for life, srs.

Spoiler!

Wawa subs are pretty good for a gas station but they just get too soggy for my liking. You have to eat them there otherwise its groce
