Canada should be shipping a boatload of moose dollars to the US every year because if we weren't bordering neighbors they more than likely would be speaking Russian or Mandarin right now.

I've noticed that even small American grocery stores have like 11 kinds of Oreos, whereas Canadian stores only have 3 or 4.

The same is true of political propaganda.
