But primary point being, both of these "hobbies" (fapping / edging to porn for guys, CONSTANT validation seeking for girls) severely fuk up the brains ability to process feel-good chemicals when actual accomplishments are...uh...accomplished.

Repped. I appreciate the honesty from both you and your friend. I can definitely understand how social media gives "average" looking (your assessment in the post) women/girls that "crucial" opportunity to feel DESIRED by men in a way that they have never really experienced before, first-hand. Wouldn't most women love to look and feel like a bombshell if they had the opportunity somehow (at any age)?
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

I’m not even particularly bothered by the photos they post. I made the thread because of my curiosity in wanting to delve into human psychology.

^ Do you think the lack of interest in social media (all platforms) means she gets enough validation/admiration in her every day life, or does she feel she's missing/lacking attention and therefore, needs/wants to seek it out on a much broader landscape- popular platforms being the perfect "solution"?

Some women have the goods but choose to refrain from attracting the wrong attention, IMHO, for different reasons.

Edit: ^ Obviously, I'm NOT referring to well-known celebrities.
She should avoid such behaviours because it’s not good for her well-being to base her self-worth of insta likes while rewiring her brain to produce dopamine from certain pathways while neglecting others. Not to mention the effect it has on society.

Besides, I’m not super upset that they’re posting these pictures at all. I’m wondering why. Your response makes me think that women’s main goal on this earth is to gain attention. A lot of men, including myself don’t get a lot of attention online. We don’t get that dopamine rush all the time. People aren’t always texting me, calling me to hang out, commenting on my pics, etc. I rarely get that stuff and it’s not fun either.

But the thing is... women don’t care about my lack of attention. If I post a shirtless selfie then I’ll be shamed and looked down upon as less of a Christian.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
