That's because the body is all folks see. Then jealousy takes over, and the insults begin. Like you said, it's a stereotype. It's sad that most male body builders treat attractive women like the rest of folks treat them - with contempt.

Women fantasize about being fulfilled by a vascular moster rather than your average joe.

And about being successful, what is successful? Having a lot of money in the bank. Maybe they ascended above that, they pay their bills and are happy because of the way they look. And that is attractive as hell.

I think people see bodybuilders training for a competition and because they are so fixed on their diet, training, and strict regimen, they may come off as aloof or cold. But hey, when you are seriously preparing for a contest, you're just not in the mood to d*ck around.
