I'm South African, and let me tell you...

It's not as degenerate as what is sometimes implied, but its not a happy place where life is respected. The average middle class person here will likely personally know more than a few people who have been victims in a home invasion, hijacking, rape, or murder. The government is corrupt, just laughably corrupt, mostly because of race based political appointments and what I would term cultural immaturity (you cannot drag people out of the early iron age into a functioning western democracy in a hundred years or so...). Every state owned enterprise (Power utilities, road and rail, airline etc.) is running at a major loss and is mostly defunct. The income tax payer base is approximately 13-16% of the population, and this is shrinking as professionals leave in search of a life where their tax money is rewarded with service delivery (Hopefully myself and my family will be amoung them soon {I am a Mechanical engineer, and my wife has an Hons degree in Educational psychology}).

The above paints an overall gloomy picture, but the quality of life we enjoy here if typically pretty amazing. The country is stunning with natural resources and biodiversity coming out its ears, living well here is cheap - relatively speaking, and you can take steps to ensure safety. I am still happy here, but the writing on the wall indicates that the decline will continue without slowing, and then the future for my kids, no matter how well educated and prepared, will be untenable. We are trying to hop the pond to AUS, but currently the "**** off we're full" is delaying things

We'd love to have you over here brah. I don't see why anyone who would actually contribute to society in a positive way wouldn't be let in ASAP. Sometimes seems most of the people who migrate here don't even end up working, end up leeching from the rest of us and/or committing crimes.

SA was an odd combination of first and third world... There was a huge race based inequality, but systems functioned and services were delivered. I have never considered the economics of what it would take, I genuinely believe it is a case of political will, not just money - the country needs to mature politically and culturally to the point that the majority of people are educated, and capable of delaying gratification in the interests of preparing for future growth. In a lot of cases, people value a qualification over an education, and feel entitled to it, along with a host of other things - this sense of entitlement, for things unearned, is a very large part of the problem. It doesn't help that the primary political agenda is socialist/communist leaning, where a people dependent on the state for everything will eventually have no other choice but the state.

The Jews don't want Whites paying attention to South Africa because its the blueprint for all White Nations. Thats why this country gets zero attention in mainstream media. S.A is a bunch of clueless Blacks brainwashed on anti-Human, communist ideology being used as a weapon to simply steal the remaining private wealth of South African citizens for the Jews who run the show over there.(Sounds eerily familiar doesn't it?). In the end and after their role of useful idiots is accomplished the blacks are left to enjoy massive poverty and no rights in the Jewish dictatorship.

Rhodesia is the same. The communist puppet of the Jews stole all the wealth from the White farmers and business class which is communism. And then transferred it to criminals and stupid criminals who can't farm. And now the economy is that of a typical communist nation, nothing. Then the Blacks got to enjoy living in a despotic dictatorship that has mass murdered seventy thousand of them as well as thousands of Whites. All the while their dictator is taking orders from the Jewish global elites.

They can't.

Western countries have turned their backs on them. The same western countries who will happily pay to have superstitious cannibals from the Congo immigrate... are refusing to allow white, Christian farmers who are being subjected to property theft, rape, and murder at the hands of violent marxist pan-africans.

100% this. People are so clueless about this and resort to the usual ole' "stole their land", "muh apartheid", etc nonsense.

It was mostly an arid desert land that the indigenous people had no interest in. People come along and through hard work and ingenuity make it a livable and thriving place, and then suddenly they all want to live there and claim its theirs.

From what I've seen recently, there are claims that most of the blacks in South Africa today are migrants from elsewhere (or their parents, grandparents, etc.) who came to South Africa AFTER the Afrikaners and British built it into the #1 economy in Africa. Other than the Zulu, the blacks in South Africa today are essentially economic immigrants who are killing the goose that laid the golden egg.

Is that true?

The original inhabitants of south Africa are the khoi San tribe. Largely peaceful hunter gatherers that lived along the south and western coasts. Around the time that Europeans moved in from the South (Cape of good hope) the zulus and xhosa moved in from the north. The xhosa are still the dominant tribe in the eastern Cape, but gauteng and kzn are mostly zulu. The idea that Europeans stole land from anyone is largely falsehood.

What Europeans did do was force urbanisation by making it attractive for natives to work in the gold mines in gauteng, in terrible conditions. The trappings of civilised Europe proved to be a significant draw on local labour and the exploitation began in truth...

Then apartheid...

A lot of harm was done by my grandparents generation, many of my parents generation voted for equality of rights leading to the change of government in 1994. In the following 3 decades the anc government has dome exactly what a group ill prepared for democratic rule with a large chip on their shoulder would do. Plunder, mismanage, and self enrich. Furthering the divide between rich and poor, but building a relatively broad black middle class also.

If Trump gets reelected you might have a shot at the US as he has voiced sympathy for South Africans before. When I was growing up in the mid 90s a white South African couple moved to our town and started going to our church. I don't remember the details but the basically had to GTFO because their farm got destroyed. Even after what happened to them they never had anything bad to say about SA and they both missed it

White African farmers needed to be protected. They already tried getting rid of them in Zimbabwe. Now the government is spending billions of dollars to get them back due to food shortages. They've already proven their ability to successfully farm and produce food is unparalleled.

Just tell the truth already. All the savage black Africans have caused your country to turn into a chithole. You don't need to hide it behind 'cultural maturity'.

Will be funny to see it fall, all the black Africans leaving, and the country return to the desolate wasteland it once was.

Don't even feel bad about it, you all did it to yourselves. Blame your liberal loving cuck grandpa.

Underwrought the below is addressed to you...

I know lots of ex Rhodesian farmers (Family members and friends) and the vast, vast majority of them did not return, and will never return - I assume from your passionate assessment of the scenario that you have lived in both Zim and SA? (In case you failed to register the sarcasm, its there... You sound like an ignorant arsehole TBH).

I work with many black professionals, and, amoung the educated, there is largely commonality of thought and perspective (Engineers, artisans, and academics that I work with). The overriding issue is that the majority of the country is not adequately educated, and it is in the ruling parties best interests to ensure that they remain that way (because an educated majority would not allow them to continue to rule). Their (the ANC) vote share is decreasing every election, so the masses are slowly learning that they have been played. Just too slowly for my liking.

I have never understood the extreme political polarization of the States, While I am a gun toting, right of center, libertarian leaning individual myself, I lament the lack of reason displayed by both sides of your spectrum - its mind boggling to me that each side of your divide is almost a cult, in a developed (and supposedly educated) country.

Thanks man.

Current kids (10 and 4). Again, I reiterate that our life is still good, we have just adjusted to the constant looming security issue with enhanced situational awareness, and living in a nice walled and security guarded complex (there are many of these in SA)
