Yea it depends on a lot of factors. Most guys do circuit based training. There isn't a ton of compound movements done besides in the offseason.

Basically your main movements that all soccer players are going to do revolve around explosive movements and unilateral movements. Things like walking lunges, jump squats, box jumps, overhead slams, bulgarian split squats, weighted step ups, maybe front/goblet squats, etc. The circuits usually revolve around things like push ups, pull ups, abdominal exercises, burpees, jump rope, etc.

Off season you add in things like barbell squat, barbell front squat, power shrugs, barbell high pulls, weighted pull ups, bench press, romanian deadlifts, etc along with speed/agility work and circuit training.

But just from the amount of sprinting you do in soccer, your legs blow the fuk up. People think you do long distance running for soccer, but you don't. Besides random timed 3 miles, we would do almost purely sprint training. Things like hills, yo-yos, short sprint training, indians runs, beep test variations, etc. And for over an hour a lot of times. Soccer is anaerobic with an aerobic base.

No you don't. Post a picture of you then.

I played with and trained under actual professional players and ex professional coaches. I also trained soccer teams after college for sports performance.

Another liar.

Lol no you don't.

There is no such thing as "semi pro" at Manchester United. uwotm8?

Yea most soccer players do.....CALISTHENICS aka bodyweight exercises. Your weight training is off season or light loads during season. You aren't gaining muscle during the season with the amount of activity you're doing.

Typical no avi new account lying again.

If you look at his transformation he's definitely putting some priority on making gains.

I doubt he's natural either, there's barely any testing in football.

Yeah, I have a hard time believing he's natty and doesn't lift weights. If he claimed natty but lifts, I'd probably believe it.
If he's not lifting then he's definitely putting in some extra time on that bike.
