As one of the earliest haters of powerlifters, the aleeboy is extremely proud of the OP.

To this day I’m not sure whether my bloatmaxxed haters dislike me because I look down on them as mouth breathing powerlifters or manlets.

Just lol at powerlifters most likely being manlets too.

Talk about cope and some very disappointed parents out there
"The manlet is a savage beast that knows no moral bound. After falling in disgrace to a manmore, a ravaged manlet would not hesitate to come from behind and land a sucker punch/ swing with a rock to the back of a manmore's head. They are ruthless and you need to spend some more time in the gutter to even begin trying to comprehend what goes on in their minds."

Huge cope. Consistent bro split gets as strong a IRL would ever require with the bonus of improving your appearance (dating and social domains)

Mad respect to the PLers with good physiques tho. Would rather be that than a twink with abs

This guy has a log?

Talk about needing attention badly. Just lol

Let’s also not forget the trolley they drag around. I always lol when powerlifters take out their squat nappies and then start banding their knees whilst sitting down on a bench in the squat rack. These losers literally take the rack for three hours to do three reps.

Absolutely the biggest jokes and they are smell like piss because they don’t wash their nappies.

This was argued on a few podcasts I heard recently. And the James Hollingshead reference was dropped, amongst some others.

Its a guy you can name a lift and he will hit a **** ton of weight. You say "okay james go do dumbbell bench" james proceeds to grab 200s and hit some reps. You say "okay james go do some barbell squats" he proceeds to load up 700lbs and hit it for reps. You say "okay james, go do some lunges" he proceeds and does 315lb lunges for 25 meters.

Thats a strong mothafuker.

It’s really funny how hard they think they are.

I learned very early on that low reps meant low intelligence. Powercopers always look very smug in their nappies and sling shirts whilst judging people who have good physiques. By the time they’ve put on their nappies, banded their knees and changed to their favorite squat shoes, I’ve already left the gym and this includes doing high rep squat of up to 225x15-20. I could go much higher, but what’s the point?

Just lol. And we wonder why there is a 0.98 correlation between powercopers and manlets.

When will they learn.

And let’s add a big “NO” to your running list of failures in asking for things in your height.

Here’s a reminder:

1. You will not get any taller

2. You will continue to be lol’d at by top tier genetics

3. aleeboy considers you all beggars, so you have zero power to ask for anything from such a highly regarded individual

You mad? And make it clear for me. You hate me because of my view on manlets, or powerlifters?

I know a few guys personally who pull over 800, one of them is sponsored by Animal, another one is a bodybuilder who hit 800 for 3 a few weeks ago.
The one sponsored by Animal said bodybuilders lift way more hardcore hes just better suited for powerlifting. Also worked out in the same gym as another famous world record holding powerlifter who pulled over 800 who is now a bodybuilder because bodybuilding was the ultimate step up from powerlifting and powerlifting was too slow paced.

Depends on how you define “strength”

You can be strong as fukk on barbell lifts but can’t lift anything else heavy to save your life. I have yet to see a bloatlord power lifter do a pull-up.

Example: I deliver beer for a living. We got a new guy in, been training for 20 years, he’s 41. On TrT. Reps 400 on squats, 500 for deadlifts and benches sets of 315 with chains. 100 lbs bent arm lat raises. Chit like that.

1 month of hauling kegs and he talks non-stop about quitting. Turns out, barbell lifts don’t translate into other feats of strength and kegs are just as much a pain in the ass as it is for everyone else.

The SAID principle at work.

Like I said I think when you can point to almost any lift in the gym and ask someone to do it and they hit very impressive weight, thats more indicative of strength than someone who practices the same motion over and over and over again.

Let's be real. Generally speaking...

Powerlifting is for endos that either have no chance of ever seeing their abs or they have to literally starve themselves in order to see two of their abs, so they cope by lifting as heavy as possible.

Aesthetics is for twinks.

The best of both worlds is for mesos.
Being weak is cope.

The older you get the more important strength is and aesthetics don't mean ****.

Nice thread though.

f19RmIwi8kw/youtube]
Why is strength more important as you age, especially in the urban 21st century where you can sit on your ass all day making misc vids, drinking beer and ordering food?

If we're talking about mogging, then real fighting ability and experience is the most important. Sure, being a bloatlord can give you some level of feigned confidence, but nothing else gives a man real confidence like stepping into the ring/octagon and sparring heavy/engaging in combat time and time again for several years.

Olympic weightlifting > Powerlifting

It requires strength and athleticism
If you can pick up 405+ pounds and jerk it over your head then you're strong. Period.
No one doubts that unlike in powerlifting

One reason Olympic weightlifting isn't more popular is the extensive drug testing.
You can't just blast and cruise in Olympic Weightlifting and get away with it.
Larry Wheels couldn't compete along with many others.

If steroids and peds didn't exist Olympic weightlifting would be more popular
I encourage people to try it because it is a lot of fun

Exactly. When my deadlift was pretty big (relative to myself being natty of course) I was so weak in general. I just had a good deadlift for me. Everything revolved around that.

When I focused on db rowing I got much stronger and much more out of it.
