Are pretty good. I don’t like to watch trailers when movies are recommended to me but the pics look scary. I’ll definitely watch this one

My personal favorites in no particular order
Hereditary
The Changeling
The Sentinel
Nosferatu the Vampyre
Return of the Living Dead
I’ve seen tons of horror films over the years cheesy, serious, everything hard to narrow it down but these stand out to me.

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Another suggestion for Hereditary...possibly the best horror film I’ve seen.
Other good ones that haven’t been recommended are The Skeleton Key and Shutter Island(more drama than horror but worth a watch).
For a good 80’s horror that you probably haven’t seen I suggest The 7th Sign. Scared the sh!t out of me as a kid, but disclaimer- haven’t seen it since then so it may be one of the ones that is just kind of cheesy when you go back and watch when older. It is a break from the usual horror and stars a prime Demi Moore though so I’d say worth the watch, especially for anyone who appreciates 80’s movies.

Alien, Event Horizon, Pumpkinhead (gotta be dark and alone with gf though!)
Watched Friday the 13th (1st one) in a retro theater last week, was kinda cheesy now but had some parts that still made my girl jump (shed never seen it). Wouldn't call it truly scary anymore though, just a classic
