Britain's planned German invasion - Operation Sea Lion - was a very last resort and even Hitler didn't really believe that they could pull it off with the Royal Navy around. The aim of the Battlef of Britain was to force the British government to quit the war.


But of course that didn't go exactly as planned.

aim of battle of Britain was to allow for an invasion, Hitler just got pissed off and started bombing cities instead of airfields towards the end. Beach invasion cant happen with enemy aircraft around. Royal navy wouldn't last long in the channel with German bombers around, but bombers don't last long with enemy aircraft around either. had the royal airforce been completely destroyed lol if you think Britain wouldn't have been invaded.

An actual invasion of Britain would have been a completely pointless waste of military resources - especially ground forces - to gain fuk all, when the main goal was to buttfuk mainland Europe and go for the resources in Western USSR. Hitler wanted to get the British to sit it out on their islands and remove them from the party.

Im gonna out up a blm sign on my house, that way i can do as i please and also go grab myself a free ps5 from bestbuy, maybe a pair of nikees too.
