The last thing you want when you have debt is inflation.

I'm too tired to explain it right now, but the massive injections of real money into people's hands is going to eventually cause the prime rate to rise materially. That will cause a world of problems.

On the other hand, it'll probably prevent the Dems from ever being elected again for another 25 years.

For now. The fiscal/monetary policy, QE, central bank policies were absolutely Huge this year. I dont think we see the full effects for a long time. Remember its only been like 8 months of the plandemic, thats a merely a blip in the grand scheme of things.

as if a lock down will stop it now. melbourne had 700 cases a day... 700! it took at least 10 weeks to get to 0 cases. 4 weeks will do nothing when you have 100k+ new cases a day

But the way gold has been going up, it looks like investors are fleeing for safe havens aka not a lot of faith in the dollar - a xx billion UBI lockdown event would decimate the dollar’s value.

Trump’s lawsuits are jokes. Literally our only hope is for republicans to win the senate in Georgia to block any kind of bill that is too crazy. Even then, exec power is so broad right now I’m not sure what would actually stop Biden from sending out the military to enforce a nationwide lockdown — and in this alternate reality clown world, dems would be cheering for martial law after 4 years of crying about cops and “why not send in counselors”.
