If was just staying in elementary, then an MA in education is great
But if op’s goal is to teach college level history to college students, an MA/PhD in history is what he needs

At one program I applied to, it’s going to cost approx $15k for the MA and $19k for an EdD.
That’s legitimately less than a lot of people here would spend on a car.

I just received an email informing me I was accepted into the MA History program at one of my top choices.
I’ll be starting in the Spring boyos.
