Something similar to me has happened. But I ****ed it up. I’ve just become shutdown to getting close to women now.

I had her and I did **** up and I knew I was but I’m extremely selfish.

So now I don’t even want to try with other women as far as getting close to them. I’ll keep them as friends. I’ll fool around, but I still blame myself for sabotaging the relationship I wanted. I hurt her and I hurt myself in the process.

I don’t want to hurt anyone else emotionally. At this rate, if I experienced someone who deeply cared for me again, I think I’d disappear. So I try not to lead women on

Which sucks cause I’m charasmatic and atleast average in looks so I get a lot of attention. Which makes me uncomfortable because o don’t want to be pursued but I don’t want to let anyone down because it truly wouldn’t be their fault. It definitely is me.

As I've gotten older, I've learnt to be skeptical of such thoughts and feelings. Just because you're obsessing over a chick, it doesn't mean she is that special. I'd argue that more than anything, these feelings are a consequence of one's lifestyle. If you're not around people/attractive females and have nothing better to do than to constantly think about how lonely you are - it's easy to develop an obsession' over anyone remotely attractive. I can sympathize and I bet the pandemic isn't helping things, but if I were you I would honestly and carefully reflect on why you're getting so shook over a pretty trivial rejection.

No they aren't. It's a numbers game. Given the numbers, the statistical likelihood that you can find a suitable companion are in your favor.

His subjective ideals are the narrowing factor. He has probably met great partners throughout his life that he didn't even give a chance because of one or two retarded things like she isn't tall enough or isn't sophisticated enough.

You're creating a percentage so small based on your own limitations. That's like saying you're broke and can't find a job, but there are 10k postings of jobs in your area, but you expect one particular job that has 1 or 2 listings that fit your skill needs. Broaden your horizons.

Every girl has baggage. Every girl has red flags. Every guy has both of those as well. You will never find a perfect someone. You aren't that special.

OP won't meet another girl in this mindset because he's attached to something not in reality. She is psycho like the rest of the female population. He is idolizing her therefore the only time he will find another female is when those feelings drop, and he finds another female to idolize.

I do the exact same thing as you. I have met plenty of good women and women I could have settled down and married. But I...ME...I was the one the didn't pull the trigger or was ready for those things. I'm 29. I almost never drink. You need to loosen the straddle. You aren't special. These small % of females you think you're only interested in aren't special.

All of my recent exes/fwb were all with women I never thought I'd even talk to initially but when I did I was wrong. I was all female athletes before. All I thought I wanted. Now I'm the exact opposite.

According to the central limit theorem if you take enough samples of a large enough sample size the distribution of the sample means will be normally distributed.

If we assume that a chad is defined as one standard deviation above the mean level of attentiveness in a normal distribution than 15.8% of the male population are chads and 3.64bln x 0.158 ~ 575 mln chads exist.

You’d have to narrow down age groups of course as being considered above average attractiveness in an older age group wouldn’t make you a chad.
