Feel like this is gonna end up happening to me and many other men who don't give a fuk pretty soon. Already impossible to get a time slot now that they limited capacity to 10 people in the gym per hour (lol) so might as well.

Also not sure if other people in comments are serious. He said he was using the chalk to do deadlifts, and that he cleaned up the chalk and didn't use it for rows. Are you people deliberately misunderstanding him because you are unable to comprehend that he decided to not take any more bull****? Is that idea completely foreign to you?

An obese employee who apparently has been working there for 13yrs with a no chalk policy, when multiple employees have told me chalk is fine, also told me 3 times to keep my mask on even during my set.

I was already highly considering finding a new gym before this due to hex plates and garbage barbells. This just gave me reason to

What gym do you go to?

Literally just last week I would just take my mask off completely and so would a bunch of other people. Their policy just changed and seems like they’re being told to actually enforce it I guess.

The closest person to me was maybe 20 ft away when I had my mask slightly below my nose and dumb sloot decides it’s an urgent matter to get me to raise it an inch. Just lol.

Because of the pandemic, I'm all about that garage gym life now. At the start of the lockdowns, I started converting my garage into a gym that doesn't feel like a garage gym. At first I was little uneasy about spending all the money I've spent in building my gym. But now, I feel pretty good about that decision due to all of the restrictions they make you have at the commercial gyms now. And with Lockdowns II looming, that further validates my decision even more.

Plus it's pretty awesome being able to workout without headphones and shirtless. Never going back to the commercial gym.

I use chalk for everything and don't clean up.

My gym allows it. Plus working out naked, yelling like Coleman, and no re-racking weights if I don't feel like it...

Not long ago I was doing deadlifts in boxers. My wife was behind me on the treadmill and all she could see was her husband deadlifting in boxers with his ballbag hanging out of the side. What a sight that must have been to behold.

It's so liberating to train in my own gym. I train shirtless, put on good music and not that braindead NPC top 40 garbage gyms play that's basically the antithesis to good lifting music. In the summer, I've got my garage door open. I can grunt as loud as I want, slam my weights on the floor, drive my olympic bar into the rack when I'm done heavy squats. It's incredibly cathartic.
