The size difference. It is not going to be quick relative to you. Chances are you'd be able to get onto its ankle. Sudden changes in direction would give it trouble as well. If you tried to run away from it in a straight line, you'd be in trouble, but aside from that, I think this strategy would work. It would be like us trying to catch a squirrel. I'm sure you could catch one if it ever ran in a straight line, but in reality good luck with that, nearly impossible.
