A decent entry-level road or gravel bike and a Wahoo kickr core gives you what a Peloton does + the ability to ride outside and play in the real world for a while.

What happens when they stop offering classes and you have a 3k dollar exercise bike now?
Companies like this remind me of Juicero. They were giving away these baller juice machines then went under when it was found out that squeezing the packets by hand gets more juice out of em
Then this video of the complete teardown and imminent destruction of the company which this became the pivot point. 120 million just like that

Pretty nice. Just lol if you don’t have the ability to cycle indoors with high quality sound system, oled TV in front of you, in a climate controlled environment
Not sure about paying for classes though. If you need someone to lead you through a workout then it’s probably not for you
As far as brands it’s like Rogue vs everyone else

Get a Nordic track Incline trainer
Become a mountain runner
Travel to beautiful remote peaks all over the world
Much better than riding a bike in a room

Its the extras on the bike that get you access to an exclusive community. Whether that is worth it to you or not, is everyone's personal decision but people need to stop calling it a $3k bike.Tbh I get that as well. Like it’s expensive but if you’re spending money on something health related (assuming you use it) it’ll almost always be worth it long run. Compared to a new computer, TV, car, appliance, etc

I dont own a peleton but I get the reason why people do.
Every time I want to hit the trails on my MTB, its 25 miles each way.
On a road bike I guess I can just walk out my front door but to get on a group ride which is what peleton is like, you have to set it up and wait for the date and time.
