I use Tinder almost entirely for entertainment purposes nowadays, and easy smashes while traveling in other countries. I smashed a few girls during lockdown earlier this year, but other than that I have no idea when the last time I actually met up with anybody from them. Tinder is literally useless around me and the idea that I'd actually date a girl from there is really hilarious. Either smash first meet or I'm not interested.

I use IG almost entirely to stay in touch with people I've met traveling along the way. And it's really great for that. Some girls 100% use it for ego, and occasionally I find myself stepping into the trap and need to step back a bit. IG is still the best App by far, and if you stick to certain interests and stop following people who veer too far off of course, it's a great tool.

I agree with some points.

I agree that you shouldn't be giving these sloots validation through social media. It is what makes them feel like they are above men, when truly they are nothing but the inferior gender.

However, I don't think there is anything wrong with men using social media. Posting selfies isn't really gay, if you wanna show the world what you look like nothing wrong with that. Also, social media can be used to connect with family and friends. Social media is also very important when running a business, it is what leads to new eyes being on your product.

If you use social media to simp I agree. If you use social media for expressing yourself, connecting with family, and growing your business there is nothing wrong with men using social media.

I agree that online dating is pretty whack. In certain cities, it works well and you can find some gems. Think large cities like NYC, Chicago, LA, SF, etc. with lots of professional women who don't have as much time for a social life or just moved to the city and don't know a ton of people. If you're not god-tier looks-wise though or not really tall (legit 6 feet+), it's a pretty tough market to crack. I've met so many women IRL that would immediately swipe left on me (I'm 5'7 and Indian, so figurately free soloing El Capitan online) that I've made out with, went on dates with, banged, etc. since I can show off more of my personality in-person, and since I'm still taller than them. Height is usually not a big deal IRL as long as you're taller than the girl, which isn't hard to do even at 5'7. If OLD works for you though and you're one of the genetically chosen ones, more power to ya.

Social media, while I don't really use it, is a good way to keep in touch with people. I only post a story when I'm traveling and it's been a great tool because people I would have otherwise lost contact with have reached out to me and I've reconnected with them that way. Dudes who are worried about their likes or who post pictures/videos of them doing mundane **** every day are cringe though, agreed.
