Question,

Not denying covid, but did we as a country forget that there are a myriad of illnesses that affect people throughout the year? We've come to a point where everything is Covid. It's even worse when the testing is inaccurate and can flag you with covid even if you have a cold.

A few years ago I had a horrible sinus infection and towards the end had to sleep sitting up on the couch for days because my cough was so bad when lying down in bed. If covid was around that year would myself and the people I know be freaking out that I had covid? I think so. I've had such a bad flu before that I couldn't walk straight because I was so achy, I was running into walls. I would have for sure thought covid then too.

Point is, I think it is a nasty illness and **** whoever/whatever lab created this mess, but we've all been sick as **** before at some point in our life and most of us live through it.

For my wife and son it was like a mild flu. For me it was almost entirely just lots of congestion. It took about 3 weeks for that congestion to go away. I tried doing a HIIT workout. How about noooooo.

Had it, woke up 9/27/20 feeling fatigued AF, more than I've ever in my life.

Figured it was just from work and a strenuous work out with DOMS -- had a sore back, like in the top part of my back. Kind of felt hard to sleep on my side.

About 2-3 days later, had a low grade fever of 100.8, then lost smell due to a head congestion.

No cough, no chills necessarily, but definitely had brain fog, wiped all my energy/strength, didn't eat for 2-3 days and if I did eat, it felt like a big deal.

I'd say about 10 days later it was gone, but definitely left me with some anxiety and some insomnia.

I had severe food poisoning symptoms twice in a month this year, 3 days non stop vommitting and diarrhea tested negative for covid
then recently had a runny nose and coughing up mucus for a week straight and sore throat for 2 days, negative for covid twice

crazy how everyone thinks everything is covid and only covid is happening. I think its just a test hat pops positive for common cold and certain strains of the flu.

So where are all the ******* trolls now from the other topic where I was rooting for the vaccin and got negged into the ground for being a shill?

Ah, theres one.

Anyway, yeah I have covid right now. Although it was mostly just a mild fatigue for about 4 days and a loss of smell and taste that has been ongoing for the past few weeks. Not really a big deal, but some people I know got ****ed up pretty badly.

I had it back in April. The first 2-3 days I had a slight headache, weird behind the ears pressure and neck stiffness - truly nothing worse than a weird night of sleep or a mild hangover. Days 3-8 had shortness of breath, loss of taste and smell, chills, low grade fever and the worst fatigue I've and body aches I've ever had in my life. I was sleeping at least 22 hours through the day and honestly thought I had sudden onset depression or something. Anytime I'd try to do more than walk to the bathroom my oxygen levels would dip and I'd get not fun symptoms of that. It took a few days to work my stamina back up, things like walking up and down the stairs was a herculean effort, but by day 12 I was up and literally running with no issues.

David Lat, dat you? Not srs, glad you're mostly okay now, you'll get there. My colleague was a 6 time NYC marathoner and on a ventilator in early April and is just now starting to get back to training. There are a surprising number of super fit endurance athletes who have had this thing bad.

That's what I'm saying, the dude with the heart issue, of course they're going to link it to covid because of what's going on. If covid wasn't around and he had that heart issue they would call it something else and think it was caused by something else. With all the crazy symptoms it's like anything and everything can be covid or caused by covid. It's absolute madness.

How does an epidemic go on for this long? For as contagious as it is, how has it not swept through the entire country by now to where most people are immune?

wtf are you talking about? no one is confusing your food poisoning with covid, and the tests aren't "popping" positive for the common cold.

I’m not here to call anyone out or a liar but, I recently lost a friend at 40. He was relatively healthy, a cop, not really what you’d call fit but not nearly an obese slob either. He was a diabetic, had sleep apnea and used a CPAP, and had pneumonia. He died of an issue with his heart swelling, and coded 3 times.

Apparently they missed something when he had his last physical, and being the stereotypical man he was he played off chest pains he was having for 2 weeks. Worst part was, he didn’t test positive for Covid until he was already gone. Needless to say, his widow was quite pissed at that diagnosis, especially since somehow miraculously her and their 2 kids were negative.

Because a percentage of the population is actually wearing masks and staying home, resulting in a much slower spread than we would have seen had the country done nothing. The hospital systems WOULD have been severely overloaded with the relatively small percentage of critically sick covid cases on top of their critical non-covid patients. The percentage of covid patients needing emergency care seems relatively small compared to the general population, but it would cripple our hospital systems if it wasn't slowed down.

i mean its a perfect setup, Doctors dont have to do any more work beyond test for covid when they dont have an apparent answer, and then they receive funding and get to spread more fear mongering. Its such a win win scenario to list deaths of covid related.

Makes sense, I've just had a hard time believing this all happened because someone ate a pangolin or a bat. During election year in one of the most controversial elections of all time.

I’ve said from the beginning that providing money for every test, every “positive” and every death even if they didn’t die OF Covid but WITH covid was a HUGE mistake.

I get it, and people have every right to their skepticisms. But the skepticism has to be backed by some kind of research or analysis, not just random conspiracists like Jestbrah spewing nonsense.

The power of mass suggestion is huge. If you tell a population and DRILL it in there heads XXX virus has YYY symptoms, and people get sick with ZZZ virus, they will probably still exhibit YYY symptoms because the power of the mind in connection with the body is EXTREMELY strong.

I believe there could be a novel virus, but more likely its mostly cases of a form of influenza and the common cold that are being lumped into the covid testing, which in case you didnt know there were no tests that could say if you had certain strains of the flu or the common cold previously so it could easily be possible they created a new test with all the funding that did indeed show a "positive" result for those. Also the common cold has had other forms of coronavirus(not covid 19) listed as the virus causing the common cold. So really is it a stretch?

Like I said I just recently had some of the "covid 19" symptoms but because I dont give into the suggestion of the massive fearmongering of covid 19 its possible my body did not exhibit some of the other common symptoms with covid.

Why do "conspiracies" have to be backed with research/analysis, but the on-going narrative never has to? Where is the research of it's origins? It absolutely does matter how it started. If it was man-made then it is a form of warfare that can eventually silently take down nations.

With Trump losing there will be no investigation into China under Biden, so that's out. It's eventually going to disappear when Biden is for sure in and nothing will be done about China.

I agree that the media makes everything worse, but the questions are being asked. All you see is the two sides of this. The media hyping this up as the most serious epidemic in our history, and the anti-maskers who think every bit of this is overblown and a conspiracy to see how far the government can push us. There is a lot of legitimate research and science in between those two groups if you look for it on your own.

Ok, but let me ask you this. If they did find the origins and it happened to be man-made, do you really think that would make headlines? It would be classified and a lie would be generated to appease the population. I don't trust any organization, too many lies.

I dont think he realizes that at this point in history Science is biased and bought and paid for by the highest bidder.
There are extremely wealthy orginizations contributing to these research teams and they sway the findings. Science can be manipulated very easily to go multiple ways. Thats why as a consumer of scientific articles you have to cipher through opposing sides and make your own decision because **** is so corrupt these days.

I can’t honestly say I trust the WHO at the point. Hell, I don’t trust our own “experts” seeing as most of them flip flopped on certain issues multiple times.
