Sometimes, yeah. Over the years I've figured out that some of that overthinking is a bit of narcissism. I found myself overthinking interactions with others and how it went, overanalyzing what might they have experienced, blah blah blah. I don't have control over the outcomes of conversations and other people's feelings. There is a book tangentially related to this, Twenty-Five Words: How The Serenity Prayer Can Save Your Life. It helped me with some of that.
