We are doing Christmas at my house this year. Did it once in 2018. I don't particularly care for ham so we did a brined turkey the first time. Asked the wife about doing another turkey this year and she wasn't particularly fond of the turkey idea. Might try vie for a brisket option, dunno. My folks always over-cook so who knows what other extras we'll have.

Russ & Daughters delivery for brunch and then gorging myself on Chinese food

Christmas Eve though, I think I'm going to do a crawfish boil or pasta con le sarde. Kind of a poverty Feast of the Seven Fishes.

I feel bad for Turkeys, it seems as if everyones tired of them.

It's an old school appetizing shop in NYC. Best herring on the planet and their smoked fish is super popular. I feel like I can outbake their babkas and rugelach but nothing comes close to their pickled and schmaltz herring. Acme could never.

...But you guys really should do a jewmas one year, and this is a good year for it.
