Stepped over the line resisting arrest. This is how things escalate to unnecessary violence and then cops get blamed for police brutality. Stupid policy but cops weren’t the one setting them

meanwhile i just got done watching an episode of Agents of Shield and The Mandelorian where 5/6 baddass characters are females all about 5'6 and 130 lbs, yet they single handedly take on 6'2 220 lbs men repeatedly.

Irrelevant. If talking isn't having any effect, issue the ticket. If he won't show his ID, that is when he could be under arrest for "resisting an officer's lawful order". Which at this point he would be, because he is committing a crime by refusing to leave, they can ask for his ID at that point, because he won't give it, it's resisting an officers lawful order.

this is why women in the police force is not only inefficient but straight up dangerous.
Imagine for a second this is not Canada but the United States. If these 2 lady cops were not able to put this gentlemen on the ground they would probably tazer him (could be dangerous if you have a heart condition) or possibly pull a gun on him and escalate a stupid situation.

for the people saying its just a fine, based on the video the male would not identify. at that point its obstruct and arrestable. thats what im assuming he got arrested for.

the taser is overboard unless they felt threatened by the fact he had skates on which are a weapon. but that doesnt fly. they used excessive force in that situation most likely due to the kid not listening to their demands and resorting to trying to scare him. again, thats a no no.
