There is definitely more to it than just liking the music, as in certain situations I turn my music all the way up so people can hear.

It’s like wearing a bowtie. 99.350% its not heterosexual, and people hate you for doing it. Rarely, however, somebody does it right, and it makes a moment in history you can tell your grandchildren about.

I am guilty of blasting metal.
Last used truck i bought only one speaker worked on the test drive. I didnt give a fk because aftermarket head unit and i could see all the chit was in there and figured wiring issue. Turned out the mrfr had Focal s powers in all 4 doors, insulated panels and a JL 12” stealth box for a middle seat. Only one door speaker was plugged into the amp. Lmao

Fixed some wiring and boom. $3500 (estimated) system and it sounded fn great.

Now im rocking a OE radio. Actually sounds decent but not at all loud.

had 2 amps 2 twelves and component set in my car in my younger years, had a 1 hour commute to work each way so would love to blast the beats on the hwy. Crazy how different music sounds when you got the system to hear it properly.

nowadays, older with kids, sometimes i don't even realize i didn't turn the radio on...too many thoughts going on in my head about working/investing/saving etc.
