That's the thing brah we can set the game to be played asynchronously. Every move, each user has as much time as we want. Usual time controls in subhuman leagues are like 48 hours per move.

Brah unless you are a titled player who competes in FIDE ranked tournaments you are a complete subhuman noob by chess standards. As I said, my ELO floats between the laughably poverty 1000 and extremely poverty 1200. FIDE ranks start getting handed out around 2200-2400 if I'm not mistaken and Magnus Carlson (current reigning chess champ, heralded as the a top-5 all-timer) is ranked around 2900.
Bro your ELO mogs mine, If I remember correctly, I'm sitting at around 800 lol. I am a noob by all standards, though I catch on quickly. I think the main issue is I never read up on any openings, I just wing it from the start.

I'll have to study some of the GOATs cause as of right now idk any of the big names besides Bobby Fischer.

For people just trying to get started.
If e4 then both white and black can go pretty far with the closed Ruy Lopez. Black has a lot of options and variations. Breyer is very solid (Magnus Carlsen plays this one a lot), Zaitsev is aggressive, Marshall Attack even more so. If d4 than you're looking at either Queens Gambit or the Indian defenses. I personally prefer the Nimzo-Indian as black. I generally don't recommend Sicilians or Slav type defenses unless the player is more experienced as you tend to get into sharp middlegames where the number of positive moves becomes very low.
